For this project ESP Energy installed a 130kW ETA Hack Biomass Boiler which produces heat and hot water for 6 domestic properties.
These properties are connected to the biomass boiler through district heating pipe laid under the ground. To lay the pipe the customers drive had to be dug up. The ESP Energy team worked carefully to make sure this was done as efficiently as possible so when the driveway was relaid it looked as neat as possible.
The installation took place in December and ESP worked through cold harsh weather to ensure the installtion was completed ready for Christmas.
This installation is eligible for the commercial Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme as it heats multiple properties, earning the customer regular payback as well as allowing them to save money on their energy bills.
