The ESP Energy team were invited to this estate in Shrewsbury to quote for a suitable renewable technology system to supply heat and hot water to 12 properties .
It was decided that the best solution would be a district heating scheme, using two 199kW ETA Hack biomass boilers.
The client requested that the properties be split in to two groups based on their heat loads.
The energy centre comprises of two 199kW ETA Hack biomass boilers, two 10,000 thermal stores and a Mikrofill expansion system.
The installation took around 5 weeks to complete and is now saving around 137 tonnes of CO2 each year.
